WELCOME TO THE NATALIA ROSE INSTITUTE
Divine timing is often only realized in retrospect. I’ve come to the conclusion that we truly are always exactly where we are supposed to be (despite our best-laid plans). I planned to take a short 3-month long sabbatical to set up our new life in Cape Town but divine timing conspired with my destiny to bring something else.
It’s been nearly two full years since our move here to Cape Town and only now am I fully returning to my role at NRI. I am returning somewhat changed…indeed, there was so much more that life had in store for me before I would come back to you to continue to share and teach.
And, I should add that despite the images of rest, study and reflection that a sabbatical period normally conjures up, this period has been more like a carnival. Some of the carnival rides were delightful – the kind that you want to get right back on again but others left me feeling quite the opposite. To top it off, every corner of the ‘carnival’ was super-sized: from the larger-than-life personalities appearing in my life to the many challenges I encountered. Beauty so panoramic and all encompassing it didn’t seem real, inspiration and lust for life running through my veins as never before, rushes of love on every level that were so strong I couldn’t do anything but stop and marvel at the feelings, and equally acute pain which required profound pause and interpretation. All of it supersized! — right down to the supersized pond and tree in the center of our supersize garden. Even the oxygen is supersized – living in Manhattan, I used to have to visit the hyperbaric chamber for proper oxygen supplies. But now, I basically live in a hyperbaric chamber! And then there are the mind-bogglingly beautiful hikes on the most supersized landmark of all, Table Mountain. But then, TIA — This Is Africa — a place where the primal energy still throbs rather than merely pulsates.
So as I sit under the supersized Capetonian sun contentedly rooted in a life of Jurassic proportions, I am exactly where I should be right now (finally): joyfully drafting notes for the training course that I will lead starting in January 2017. The ‘carnival’ period had to have it’s time; a great reminder that the learning never ends. Sometimes the secret of life is just a simple as being able to discern between which rides you like and which ones you don’t and staying true to that right down to your core.
In the new year, we’re going to talk a lot more about “power” – what it means and how to harness it. I would like to help you supersize your power and I believe this extended sabbatical has put me in a position to be an even better guide on this topic than ever before. So, I thank you for your patience in my extended absence while I was where I had to be. Never have I appreciated and believed more strongly in the principles offered here at NRI. May it be a fortress for you as it has been for me. In the meantime, please enjoy the Vault videos and the training series coming in January, created to profoundly strengthen your journey!
Supersized sunshine to you all,
